Safety-Kleen Systems Recognized for Outstanding Business Achievements

Earns Microsoft Dynamics® Operations Agility Award

PLANO, TX — Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc., has been awarded the "2012 Operations Agility Award" by Microsoft® as part of the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Excellence Awards program.

Safety-Kleen executives will be honored by Microsoft at an awards luncheon on March 19, 2012, at "Convergence 2012 Houston," a major annual conference for users of Microsoft Dynamics software products.

Microsoft's Customer Excellence Awards are presented in nine categories, and Safety-Kleen was recognized for its strong commitment to operations agility. Working with Microsoft Dynamics certified partner, PowerObjects of Minneapolis, MN, Safety-Kleen recently completed migrating from Salesforce.com to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, which allows the company to serve twice as many users in the Safety-Kleen organization at a much lower cost.

"This is a real win-win situation for Safety-Kleen," said Carla Rolinc, Safety-Kleen vice president for Information Technology. "We now have a financial, supply chain and customer relationship management system that has twice the capacity of the old one, but is more efficient and easier for our people to use, and it costs less to operate. That's smart use of business technology."

Established in 1997, Microsoft's Customer Excellence Awards are based on nominations from Microsoft Dynamics partners and team members, judged on a category-specific basis, and reviewed by a panel of Microsoft executives for final approval.
